The Vault Hunters meet the Firehawk, who turns out to be Lilith, whose Siren powers have been enhanced by the new supply of Eridium. Lilith informs the Vault Hunters that Roland was actually captured by a group of bandits.
Monster Hunter Rise. The new group of Vault Hunters in Borderlands 2 are tasked with killing Jack and returning peace to Pandora. Borderlands 2 Remastered begins with the protagonists on a train to an unspecified location to begin their search for the vault. The train turns out to be a trap set by Handsome Jack, to kill all who search for the Vault. The detonation causes the train to crash in the Arctic Wasteland, with our new team strewn across the wreckage.

When you purchase this, Deathtrap will instantly become upgraded for the entire match. Plan Two - The Progression Plan gold. This allows you to upgrade your Deathtrap over the course of the match. To unlock this you must level up. Plan Three - The Combo Plan gold.
This plan lets you go through the upgrade menu and purchase up to eight upgrades at once. However, if you upgrade more than eight times, your Deathtrap becomes locked for the rest of the match.
I think that this particular gameplay mechanic will be interesting to try out in-game once the game launches, and should certainly add some nice variety to the game.
